New here? How this page works, and which languages it covers
Fifteen languages have their own channel in the GenLayer Discord, and those are the ones this page is built around: …. English is the sixteenth, as the language every passage is written in.
Pick yours and the site hands you a short English passage about that community's own history. You translate it and submit both texts together. Any other language still works, but there are no passages for it and it is not on the globe: keeping the set that size is what keeps the page light enough to run.
Five validators then read the pair independently and each scores three things: whether the numbers, dates and obligations survived, how much of the source is actually there, and whether it reads like a person wrote it.
The model is never asked whether your translation passes. It reports what it found; the thresholds live in the contract, where every validator applies the same ones, so a lenient reader cannot wave anything through on its own.
Fidelity and coverage can refuse a translation. Fluency never does. A faithful translation that reads clumsily is certified with reservations, because refusing it would send you back to fix something that was not broken.
Connect, and get a register
Nothing is signed by choosing — the wallet asks you first.
A register is one deployed Faithful contract, and it holds the certificates. You need one before anything can be certified, so this step comes first. Deploy your own, or paste an address somebody has shared.
Checked with a free read before anything is signed: an address that does not answer rules() is refused here rather than costing you a signature to find out.
Choose your community and take a passage
locked until step 1 has a registerTen passages for each community, about its own history, and the button does not repeat one until you have seen them all. A language without its own set still gets one, from the whole collection. They are short on purpose: a passage you can translate in two minutes gets translated.
Or spin the globe: drag to turn it, click a community to choose it.
